I love me some Tso's Tits

So. I've been really productive. I'm rather proud of myself. I had 15 hours of weekend class talking about Sourcing, Logistics and Costing. It's actually more interesting that I thought it would be. YAY for that! I also denied my friends my presence in order to get some patterning for the fashion show done. I also got 2 garments sewn and fitted. Super proud mama right now. In more fun news. I finally showed myself out in Menomonie. I was able to hang out with my spirit sister Angela. We finally got to converse about our lives and then continued to get drunk. I've become a beer good which is great because its significantly cheaper. Woodchuck is a new favorite of mine. (Promo: 2 for $1.50 on Saturadays at The Market! Hell yeah!) Anyway, we had a great night that ended up with Jeff's in our faces! Sunday morning I went with Ms. Republican and Surrah to go fabric shopping and thrifting. My two favorite things! I got some purdy fabric for the fashion show and some zippers and yarn. Lurve it. Afterwards we stopped at Target and I only spent $3. Proud again! Before thrifting we decided to indulge ourselves in some Jade's Garden, "The fanciest Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. I wonder if they're hiring" : : said in my best gay man voice : :! Anyway, it was amazeballs. Such good food. I was getting goosebumps from some of the food I was eating (aka the sugar donuts, General Tso's chicken and the crab ragoons)! So yummy. After gaining about 32lbs, we decided to go try on clothes (bad idea) at my favorite shop, Savers. I found a dress and a beautiful (never worn) vintage blazer. I also stumbled upon a vintage Singer sewing machine that was a wopping $10! I of course purchased it to decorate my apartment next year! Can't wait! It was a glorious day/weekend. I even went to bed early last night. I was actually in bed by 9pm to watch Mad Men and then fell asleep at about 10:30pm. It's amazing what I can do when I'm actually productive. Why haven't I started this earlier in my life?

True Life: I'm addicted to Draw Something

So my life has been BORING! I haven't don't much. By that I mean, I've been working and sleeping and going to school. I haven't had much of a social life. I watched a group of my friends drink absinthe and I apparently sparkled. Damn! They figured out I'm a vampire from Twilight! My secret has been revealed. I am also eating way too many taquitos. But they're so good! One issue I've been having is this awesome app called Draw Something for the iPhone. Shoot. I am addicted. I'm currently playing about 10 games. I have started to limit myself to playing only a few times a day. Every 2+ hours I allow myself to play about 10 minutes. My only issue is that I get super into it! I make my drawing 3D and try to add shading. Half the time it doesn't look good because I apparently have sausage fingers. FML. I have a problem! I'm not sure how I am going to ween myself off this one Sally.

I'm terrible.

So I have bad memory and have left you guys (meaning Surrah) dry and alone. Anywho, my life hasn't gotten any more entertaining. Some updates, I've quit one of my favorite places of Levi's. It's really strange to not be planning to work there. I still go on the website and think of my past discount. Sad face. Oh well, I'm saving money in the end. On a happier note. I've continued my relationship with my gay boyfriend. Spring break was a joy. I slept and made a sweater! Which I LOVE (pictures included for your viewing below). I was able to have a few fun night in the cities during my last weekend working. I tried my best at karaoke. I was definitely not drunk enough to do that. Next time, I will hope to only be plastered. I was also able to celebrate the famous O'Malley house's Saint Patrick's Day. It started with an early morning wake up text wishing me a Happy Ginger Day, which I loved. Followed by the ever lovely blasting of Celtic music throughout the house at around 9am (if not earlier). The preparing of the meal filled the house with wondrous fumes as well as pete moss, one of my favorite scents! We continued this until it was time to fill our stomachs with what had been prepared. I ate my weight in corned beef, colcannon, scones, soda bread, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots, and more! I wait for this day to come. After the food baby was conceived and Guinness and Irish Cream was consumed, I was in for a night of some of my favorite movies. We watched John Wayne in A Quiet Man followed by The Secret of Roan Inish. Sadly, we were unable to watch one of my favorites, Darby O'Gill and the Little People, starring Sean Connery. Until next time. So that was most of my Spring Break. After, I returned to the ever-so-lovely Stout where I worked on more projects that eventually leads me to this past weekend. I had plans to join one of my besties, Bethanee, in Madison in order to watch the midnight premiere of the Hunger Games. It was a joyous adventure. We sat. We watched. We cried. We laughed. It was AMAZEBALLS! SOOO good! I was extremely pleased with the acting and the casting in general. I fell in love with Lenny Kravitz...again. They followed the story line splendidly (seeing that the author did co-write the screenplay). There were minor things that were changed but I was okay with that. So okay, that I went to go see it again with my family the very next day. I'm also considering viewing it again. I'm a nerd. I can't help it. I slept a majority of this weekend; something I have been unable to do for the past few months. But I'll sleep when I'm dead right? I think that's how the saying goes. Now, I'm back at school once again. I got a little hammed last night with Surrah. She made me dinner so I felt obligated to bring the goods. The goods being 2 bottles of wine. Together, the two of us consumed 3 bottles. I was rather pleased with what happened that night. There was a lot of laughter and pantless-ness going on. Mainly on my part. But really, who needs pants anyway?

Here are a few : : cough : : extreme amount : : cough : : of pictures to update you on what you've been missing!

Change is in the air and it smells lovely.

So I'm doing much better already. I bought some beer yesterday with full intentions of getting slightly drunk however, I only had 2. I am finally getting my fix of Stella while in the dorms instead of just when I go to the cities. I also colored my hair.Well, Surrah did. DON'T WORRY! I'M STILL A GINGER! I could never stray away from the pack. Anywho, I'm going to be having a margarita party this weekend. That should be fun. I'm also going to be within my sweatshop making a sweater. FUN! I can't wait actually. That's about how exciting my life has been for the past day.

Here's a few pictures to tide you over for now.

Random photog of my house next year. Lovely

Something was super funny. Oh yeah, Surrah.

I look like I'm really interested in something.

Describing Farts

I've learned today while hanging out with my dear friend Surrah that there are some words that can be used to describe farts and others that are maybe not too friendly. I'm compiling a list at the moment. Please enjoy:

Decent:
- Crisp
- Bubbly
- Squeaky
- Butt Slapper

Clear out:
- Sticky
- Crispy
- Chunky
- Creamy
- Wet
- Moist
- Damp

That's all for now.

I'm a Hectic Mess

So my life has been a hectic mess. Don't get me wrong though, I love a good mess. I've been knitting like a mad woman, spending time at my new apartment with my roomies (Surrah and my gay boyfriend). I worked at le MOA a past weekend and had a splendid time. There was a lot of Stella Artois involved and interesting conversation. We will leave it at that. Now that I'm back in the suffocating arms of the dorm, I have been creating my own sweat shop. During the week my life isn't super interesting. However, I like to party it up on the weekends. This past weekend I was invited to a glorious dip party. I made a s'more dip that was a hit. This party was the best thing that ever happened to me however, I think I gained about 80lbs. This weekend also consisted of margarita nights. I bought the best bottom shelf tequila available and some mix and had margs with Surrah, le gay boyfriend and Big Red. We got a little cray cray. I turned into my alter-ego which surprisingly turned into a reverend much like Al Jackson. I think I might have said, "The whores will go first!"? I'm not sure though. Surrah and I also took a trip to Eden Prairie for le doctor. We stopped in le Target which was the first mistake. I bought 2 pairs of shoes totaling a whopping $30. We then tried to find a delicious place to eat and Siri was being difficult to so we decided on Kona Grill. It was a lovely place and had the BEST BATHROOMS EVER! So classy and mucho delicioso. Sunday became a day of homework. Monday and Tuesday was knitting. Now I've got a snow day and cleaning to fill my life. And that's all folks. Ta ta for now.

Fail.

So it's been awhile. I'm going to try to update you on my life that I may have left out. I have been around living life in the fast lane at school. Most of the time I've been making a couch my home at my ginger's residence. I've visited a beautiful Twin Cities with my gay boyfriend to buy a beautiful knitting machine and yarn that I am now not even going to use for awhile. I have also visited Rochester's wonderful Ginny's Fine Fabrics and died because I can't afford such beauty for the time being. After Ginny's with my lovely Surrah, we went to Outback in memory of Helena Bonham who is off in Australia...the real outback. It was the best and worst place ever. Food was great...outcome after....not so great if you know what I mean. Anyway, Last weekend I was asked to be a model dresser for the Pardon Fashion Show. I was happy because I was able to go for free instead of paying $15-$20 for a ticket. Awesome! Anyway, it was amazing. I felt so cool being backstage. I looked pretty baller if I might say so myself. There was so much nerd going on too. It made my insides happy. And Surrah did such a beautiful job! Now, I'm just catching up on my life. I'm working this weekend up at the lovely Levies with the hipsters j'adore. I can't wait. Now I'm off but will leave you with some pictures to wet your appetite:
